Designed to Remove and Replace Heavy Hatch Covers!
Built to individual requirements
MAIN BOX GIRDER: Supported at the ends by flanged wheel dollies, traveling on permanently mounted fixed rails on the boat deck.
"DEAD MAN" TYPE CONTROLS: Return to neutral for safety purposes. Cover hooks are self engaging into cover attaching eyes.
DIESEL OR ELECTRIC DRIVEN HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS: Utilized for hoisting, traveling and braking. Hoist cylinder has hydraulic counter balance valve to require "power down".
MECHANICALLY BALANCED DRIVE: Drives on all four wheels to prevent yaw and assure traction. Hydraulic motor for drive system has planetary gear reducer with final chain drive to all four wheels. Hydraulic motion control valves prevent overspeeding and provide smooth deceleration.
LOW HEIGHT: Permits handling hatch covers without having to swing self-unloader boom to the side of the ship.
